Wall to Wall

4/ 5

[yasr_overall_rating size=”large”]I just watched Wall to Wall on Netflix, and it left me uneasy, in a good way. It starts off slow and quiet, but the tension builds fast. Kang Ha‑neul plays Woo-sung, a man who buys his dream apartment, only to be tormented by constant noise from the neighbors.

It begins with small noises, nothing noteworthy. However, the noise soon takes away at Woo-sung’s peace.. His home turns into a cage, the walls throb with tension. What was once background becomes a threat, and silence becomes scarier than sound.

The film touches on real struggles too—housing stress, debt, and isolation. It hit hard without being preachy. Some of the twists near the end were unexpected, though a bit over the top. Still, it kept me hooked.

If you enjoy slow-burn thrillers that turn creepy fast, Wall to Wall is worth watching. It’s intense, uncomfortable, and weirdly relatable. I didn’t expect much going in, but it surprised me.

Final thought: Sometimes the scariest things don’t come from outside, they live right next door.
